Infraestructura Portuaria Mexicana S.A. de C.V. (IPM), a PINFRA subsidiary, was created as a response to the privatization of ports by Mexican government in 1994. They granted permision to IPM to manage and operate Terminal number 2 in the port of Altamira on June of 1996, conceding an extension until 2036.
IPM has been commited since that date to become a World Class Terminal Operator and to reach the highest quality standards for service and productivity that clients demand.
